I can't forget, though long ago,
the love in Mother's touch.
Or the countless ways she always showed
she cared so very much.
In kindness she reached out to all,
her caring knew no bounds.
Her loving ways brought joy and peace
to everyone around.

Then suddenly she was called away ~
a day I'll not forget.
An agonizing time of grief
with moments of deep regret.
And although I knew her suffering
was mercifully at an end,
I wanted her here at my side ~
of that I'll not pretend.

But God does not take away
to cause us hurt or pain.
Through His Son, He has a plan
in which we'll meet again.
For now she walks among angels
as they keep watch over me.
She's gone to be at Jesus' side
where I'll join them for eternity.

I hope you enjoyed this page.
I'd love to hear from you!
Father, I ask you to bless each person that visits this page.  I pray they will find your love within these pages and that You will bless each with that special touch that they need in their lives this day.  May those who need salvation come to the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.  May those who are in need of healing... whether it be physical, emotional, mental or spiritual.. receive the healing touch of the Great Physician.  May those who need peace, find rest in Your arms.  May they receive comfort and the peace that passeth all understanding that comes only from knowing and trusting You.  I ask You to meet each of their needs and help them to realize the source from whom all their blessings flow.  Fill their cups to overflowing so that the Joy of the Lord flows out of them from the abundance of their hearts.  Allow others to see You in them and desire this same joy themselves.  May all heaven and earth praise Your glorious name forever.  IN the blessed name of Christ Jesus I pray.. amen and amen.

Below are the words to the song...
follow along and be blessed

(Cello Introduction)

(Verse 1)
I recall the day
Jesus called you home,
And He set you free from all the hurt and pain.
Now you live with Him
In joy that never ends,
And one day I know I'll join you there
And see you once again.

(Chorus)
Though for now you're gone,
It is just a little while,
Till the Lord gathers all up above.
As I think of you now,
There is comfort and a smile;
You're at peace
In His love.

(Verse 2)
When you left that day,
We had to wonder why --
Still so many things we do not understand.
But we trust in God
Who makes our lives complete
And by faith we carry onward,
For our lives are in His hand.

(Repeat Chorus)
Though for now you're gone,
It is just a little while,
Till the Lord gathers all up above.
As I think of you now,
There is comfort and a smile;
You're at peace
In His love.

(Verse 3)
With the angels you sing
In your new-found home,
To the One who will dry every tear.
One day we will join
The chorus up above.
We shall all be reunited,
And the night shall disappear!

(Repeat Chorus Two Times)
Though for now you're gone,
It is just a little while,
Till the Lord gathers all up above.
As I think of you now,
There is comfort and a smile;
You're at peace
In His love.

(Ending)
You're at peace
In His love.

"Let not your heart be troubled:  ye believe in God, believe also in me.  In my Father's house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."  John 14:1-3

Jesus is the answer
Hi Friend ~ the joy of the Lord to you!

The poem on this page, Walking Among Angels, I believe was only the second poem that I had ever written... well, not counting one I had written when I was ten or eleven  :::: smile::::

My mother had died several years earlier when I was twenty two from respiratory failure a little over a week after having had surgery for colorectal cancer.  She and I were very close and it devastated my life.  Even though I was already married and Ioved my husband, my mother was my heart and when she died she took a part of me with her. One day soon I hope to add a testimony page that will give you the complete story behind the miraculous ways that the Lord helped me through that tragic time in my life.

It is my sincere prayer that when others who have lost their mothers or loved ones read this, they will find comfort in knowing that we will be reunited with them in heaven one day if we have received Jesus into our hearts as savior.  The other thing that I also pray is that when those who still have their mothers with them read this, they will realize how very blessed they are and let their moms know how very much they are loved and cherished.  If there are those out there who have broken relationships with their mothers, I pray and encourage you to get past the differences and let the Lord do a work of restoration in your relationship.  Please don't wait until it is too late and you are left only with empty memories and a life full of regrets because of the missed opportunities.

May the Lord bless each of you exceedingly above all that you can even think to hope for.

Love in Christ,
Sherry
