Maybe it was a prayer you sent up for me when I was feeling life's storms. Maybe it was the way you gave me a hug when I needed one so bad. Or maybe it was just being here to listen when I was needing to talk. Maybe it was the way you told me not to give up and then encouraged me to just trust God to handle it all. Maybe it was just knowing you were close by if I needed a friend and that I could depend on you. Then again, maybe it was you being here when everyone else seemed to be turning away. Maybe it was the kind words you spoke to me when someone else had said something hurtful. Maybe it was the way you smiled and were able to put that smile in my heart and share with me a little of your own happiness. This site is dedicated to all those that God has placed in my life who have been here to share His love and kindness when times have seemed so hard and I am so thankful that the Lord allowed our paths to meet. The love of Jesus flows out of you and has touched my life and heart in so many ways. You have been here for me when I did need someone to share His loving kindness so much. That means more to me than you will ever know. I know that so much goes unsaid and I am at a loss of words to really be able to tell you how much you really mean to me. But when you've got friends beside you, though the Lord seems far away, He is there within their lives for you, and that's why I have to say. Father, Your ways are above our ways and Your thoughts above our thoughts. You are always knowing what it is that we have need of before we even ask. You are well aware of the need that we have for human companionship and for the ways that others can be such a big part of our lives. We are not creatures designed to be alone. The fellowship and bonds of love found in Christian relationships are just not able to be compared with other than that with which we find in You and with that nothing compares. Our sisters and brothers in Christ live the life of Christ before us and by their expressions of His love, their prayers, and that witness, we are made stronger in our own walk of faith. I thank you for these friends and family that you have placed in my life that are so very dear to me. Only a God so great as You would do that. I pray that You will bless them and give to them so much more back than I have been able to give to them. Bless them in ways that only You can do, Lord. Keep a hedge of protection around them and their loved ones, Father and shower them with all the blessings of heaven. Grant them peace and harmony in their homes and a love for You in their hearts that will only continue to grow as the years go on. Hi Friend . . . the Joy of the Lord to YOU ! You know, sometimes you can have people all around you and yet you can still be so very lonely. You can have people tell you that they love you, and yet you feel unloved. You can share with others what burdens your soul so much and they can't understand or feel how deep the hurt really is. And you can have friends who call themselves friends, who really don't know you at all. And then there are those whom God will place in your lives that you have only known but a short time and the Spirit of God makes you feel as if you've known them forever. There is a bond of love that is just indescribable and somehow all those feelings of loneliness and not being loved begin to be erased because you feel God's love pouring out of them. What a blessing it is when God places a special friend in your life and causes this to happen. It is a rare occasion and not one that happens but a very few times in a lifetime. Somehow, the Lord uses this person to really make you understand the depth of love that He has for each one of us and it simply is so hard to express how much they have touched your life. I thank God for those He has placed in my life. Most will come and go having met a need that was there for a particular time in my life.. or perhaps just the other way around. But I pray that for the handful of those He has caused to be such a special part of my heart, He will allow us always to remain close and stay friends forever. None of it was coincidence, but by divine appointment, and I am so very thankful for your love and friendship. To all those who visit this page... God's blessings upon you. May the Lord place those in your path who will be a source of encouragement and hope to you also. And when He does, make sure you try to let them know just how much He has touched you through them.
